KADE pages on FACEBOOK

When you visit our (KADE) pages on facebook.com or subpages of it, Facebook collects information as described in the Facebook data policy under “What types of information do we collect?”.

Facebook Ireland Ltd. (hereinafter “Facebook”), 4 Grand Canal Square , Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, is therefore responsible for the data collected when using the Facebook Pages, in addition to DR. KADE.

The extent to which Facebook uses the data for itself is listed below.

The data that DR. KADE receives from Facebook is evaluated anonymously, so that no conclusions can be made about individual users. In addition, DR. KADE does not allow access to individual Userprofile. Also for reasons of data protection, the statistics can only be retrieved from 30 fans, because a few users could understand what actions the individual users have taken to the fan page.

All user-related evaluations and data remain with Facebook, but can also be used by Facebook for actions, e.g. advertising, on behalf of DR. KADE.

DR. KADE uses the data we receive from Facebook Insights about the so-called “fan page” and its use to improve the pages and adapt the content, for example, to the regional distribution of users, in order to evaluate the reach of the posts (what did you like? What hardly anyone reads…), how high are the number of visitors and on which days the pages will be visited more closely, etc. These are important criteria for assessing the success and value of advertising on the pages. The number of “likes” is also important for this.

The legal basis for the processing of this data by DR. KADE is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR) to present and share images, texts and other offers and at the same time to receive feedback on the manner and frequency of use of individual elements on the pages.

The data that Facebook processes also include information about how people use The Facebook Products, such as the types of content they view or interact with, or the actions they perform (see “Data made and provided by you and others” in the FacebookData Policy),as well as information about the devices they use (e.g. IP addresses, operating system, browser type, language settings, cookie data; see “Device Information” in FacebookData Policy). What information Facebook actually collects depends on whether and how people use Facebook products.

As explained in the FacebookData Policy, Facebook also collects and uses information to provide analytics services, known as pageinsights,to site operators to help them learn about how people interact with their pages and related content. The processing of personal data for Page Insights is subject to Facebook’s Terms and Conditions for Page Insights.

Page Insights are aggregated statistics that are generated from specific events logged by Facebook servers when people interact with pages and related content. Such “events” include, for example, viewing a page, post, video, story, or other content associated with a page; interact with a story; subscribe to or no longer subscribe to a page; Mark a page or post with “Like” or “No more”; recommend a page in a post or comment, comment, share, or respond to a page post (including the type of response); hide a page post or report it as spam; hover over a link to a page or the name or profile picture of a page to preview the page content; click on the website, phone number, “Plan route” button or another button on a page; see the event of a page; respond to an event (including the nature of the response); click on a link for event tickets; start a messenger conversation with the page; View or click on items in a page store.

This, or some of the information, is then collected about the act, the person who carried out the act: the date and time of the act; country/city (estimated by IP address or imported from the user profile for logged-in users); language code (from the browser’s HTTP header and/or language setting); age/gender group (from the user profile, only for logged-in users); websites previously visited (from the browser’s HTTP header); whether the action was done on a computer or on a mobile device (from the Browser User Agent or from app attributes); Facebook user ID (only for logged-in users).

Facebook uses cookies, which they use in accordance with the Facebook Cookie-Guideline https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies, to determine whether the individuals are logged-in users of Facebook. Few events can be triggered by people who are not logged in to Facebook. This includes visiting a page or clicking a photo or video in a post to view it.

DR. KADE does not have access to the personal data that is processed in this way, but only to the summarized page insights. Events used to create page insights do not store IP addresses, cookie IDs, or other identifiers associated with people or their devices other than a Facebook user ID for people logged in to Facebook.

The events that Facebook logs to create page insights are set exclusively by Facebook and cannot be set up, modified or otherwise influenced by DR. KADE.

DR. KADE and Facebook Ireland Limited are jointly responsible for the processing of this personal data in events of the Site Insights (“InsightsData”) in accordance with Article 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility includes the creation of these events and their merging into page insights, which are then made available to DR. KADE. The parties agree that Facebook and, where applicable, DR. KADE will remain independent and independent controllers for any other processing of personal data related to a Site and/or its related content for which no joint decision is made on the purposes and means.

Affected persons can and should therefore also contact Facebook directly. If data subjects assert their rights under GDPR with regard to the processing of Insights data against DR. KADE, DR. KADE is obliged to inform Facebook immediately, and Facebook undertakes to respond to requests from data subjects in accordance with the obligations required by Facebook in accordance with the Site Insights supplement.
